You've scored the gaps. The Bridge answers the next question: every gap, the number that would prove it, and where the loss is caused.
Two lists, deliberately separate:
- Where to dig — KPIs ranked by gap × importance × loss × confidence. This answers: where can I start on Monday. Each row points at the canvas to open (Open the Makigami / Open the VSM) and can Start a Kaizen directly.
- Instrument first — losses that may be your biggest, but the data can't yet prove it. Fix the measurement before you map. A loss you can't measure isn't attackable yet.

Add a KPI for anything you already track: what it would prove, the loss behind it, and — required, no default — where the loss is caused: in the flow, in planning, commercial, or design. Most losses are assumed to be on the shop floor and many are not; you know your row better than any seed. The estimates are yours — edit them and the ranking moves.

Tip — If your industry has no seeded KPI catalogue, that's on purpose: we seed only industries we've worked in. Add your own KPIs and the Bridge works exactly the same.
