Rate each axis of customer value against where you need to be. LTC-OS computes the takt that every later map reads.
This is where the loop starts, and everything downstream is shaped by what you put here. You rate what your customer actually pays for — each axis scored where you stand today against where you need to be. The gaps that fall out are not opinions; they are the first numbers the system holds on your behalf.
The Compass then computes your takt: the rhythm real demand asks of you. That single number is read by every map you draw afterwards, which is why the Value Stream Map can tell you which process node breaks takt rather than just how long things take.
It hands the next move two things — the value gaps, and the takt. The Value–KPI Bridge picks up the gaps and ranks them. The maps pick up the takt and measure themselves against it. Skip this module and both of them have nothing to be right about.
